Fishing Reports

Yellowstone River - Wed, Mar 30th

Aside from the ever present wind around Livingston, the river has been fishing well. The wind has just made for tougher conditions for obvious reasons. But if you can get over there on a cloudy day and tuck away from the breeze...there has been some great midge fishing to risers throughout the length of the river. Nymphing with small black stonefly nymphs and general attractor nymphs has been fishing well enough most of the day, just work some different water in a run as teh fish seem to be more in the deeper seams and around definite structure like below ledges and drop-offs. There has been a streamer bite as well on most days, epsecially for the persistent streamer angler.
