YNP - Fri, May 13th
The park is still closed to fishing but it’s getting closer. May 28th is the opening day for the 2011 Yellowstone fishing season. We should be getting the license soon and we’ll be sure to let you know when we do. Although getting around might be a problem. The East entrance to the park has stayed closed so far this year due to a large wet snowpack and the high avalanche risk. It should be a good year for Yellowstone as there should be plenty of water to keep the rivers and streams fishing good into late summer.
