Missouri River - Wed, May 18th
Flows came up a bit today and are expected to do so again tomorrow. The flow increases seem to be having less and less of an impact on the fishing now, especially once you get a little ways below the dam. Prickly Pear and the Dearborn are still pushing dirty water into the river but it blends in pretty quickly and the entire river is in pretty good shape, but high right now. Boat fishing is pretty much a necessity now as the river is well above it's normal banks making for near impossible wading. But the boat fishing has been very good the last couple of weeks and seems to be only getting better.
