Upper Madison - Mon, May 30th

The upper is clearing up a bit thanks to some cold nights the last few days. There is 1-2 feet of visibility throughout the stretch and it is green in color. We fished up around Pine Butte today and did well enough on nymphs. There was a heckuva BWO hatch mid-day and we even saw some sporadic rises. Probably not a bad choice for the next few days so long as the flows continue to trend downward. There have been some very good reports coming out of the section between the lakes too.
