Fishing Reports

Missouri River - Thu, Jun 2nd

A world full of bad weather made it's way back into out area today...once again. Windy as hell and rainy too, but there are fish to be caught and that seems to make it worth the effort. Flies in the upper portions that are really getting them are nondescript sow bugs with a midge or small mayfly dropper fished with a couple split shot on a 10-12 foot leader. Fish from the bank out, looking for moving water in between the fast seams and still water. They are in there and eating.

The water is fishable below the Dearborn right now. Its not great, but fishable. These fish have not been hit too hard the last few weeks and they are hungry  - Worms are fine on them

The reality now is that the place just got busy this morning with some large groups  running around. It is going to be a 100 percent junk show up here for a few days. i wouldn't recommend it unless you have no backup plans or just want to fish the MO this weekend.
