Fishing Reports

Spring Creeks - Sat, Jul 16th

This is always one of the most popular time of year for all of the area spring creeks. PMD's are the primary hatch during the middle of he day that will always bring some fish to the surface. There are also some midges, caddis, ants, and beetles around too, so having a variety of small dries is always a good idea. Sight fishing with small nymphs in between hatches can be some of the most productive fishing this time of year, but most folks heading to the creeks now are hoping to fish dries. Heavy angling pressure requires 6X tippets and accurate presentations right now.
