Fishing Reports

Lower Madison - Sun, Jun 26th

After peaking at just over 7,000cfs a few days ago the Lower slowly has come down to about 6,750cfs. The clarity is still low to none be I’ve had several people come in and say they’ve caught fish, not many but some have been big fish. Same old dirty water flies: dark stone fly nymphs, sculpins, and crayfish, small dark or shiny beadheads, worms, and streamers right up on the bank. Fishing tough but the weather is supposed to be beautiful, so for now we need to take the bad with the good. Give it a few more weeks before and we should see the both the flows and clarity improve.
