Fishing Reports

Lower Madison - Tue, Jun 7th

They increased the flows on the Lower substantially last night, about 600cfs, so the fish may need a day or two to acclimate to the new flows. I haven’t heard anything within the last couple of days water clarity wise, but I’d imagine it’s not great. Wading probably wouldn’t aid your fishing at all, as the fish will be holding tight to the banks, so play it safe and stay out of the water wherever possible. Boaters should also exercise caution when floating as the river will be running high and fast. Try big nasty stuff and worms right on the bank.
