Lower Madison - Mon, Jul 11th
Fishing on the Lower Madison continues to get better with lower water levels and improving water clarity. Crayfish patterns took most of our fish yesterday with a few fish taking streamers and beadhead nymphs. Putting some movement into the crayfish seemed to better catch the attention of the trout, Dry fly fishing will start coming around soon, and some fish have been feeding on yellow sally and caddis adults up in the Beartrap Canyon.
