Upper Madison - Sun, Jul 24th
There are few big bugs still flying around, unless you want to go into the Park, otherwise Stonefly madness is over until next year. There are a few Sallies flying around still, but very few and you’d be better throwing caddis, PMD’s and attractor dries if you want to fish dries. Nymphing has been the best bet especially lower down toward town. The classic rubberlegs with a beadhead dropper has been producing good numbers of fish. The odd sculpin is also worth a cast or two; both dead drifted and swung.
