Fishing Reports

Gallatin River - Tue, Aug 2nd

The rain showers last night brought flows up on the Gallatin last night just a little bit. Not enough to throw the fishing off completely. Taylor’s Fork did get hit pretty good last night so don’t be surprised to see a mud plug come through today. Shouldn’t be very big though. We’re still seeing decent caddis hatches morning and evenings, with mixed results fishing the hatch. Attractor dries are still being productive throughout the day. Nymphing as always has been good. Stonefly dropper rigs as usual. Haven’t been getting many fish on the big stone nymphs, but there have been some bigger fish taken on them; plus it’s a good way of adding weight to your rig with adding half a dozen split shot.
