Gallatin River - Sat, Jul 9th

I just clocked out for a half an hour and went down to look at the Gallatin at Shed’s.  I thought it was just to get out of the shop for a hot second, but the river is starting to look noticeably better.  I decided to make a few casts from the bank with a girdle and a wire worm.  I didn’t catch anything but it was fun to try, and isn’t that the point?  We should be catching some fish on our “lunch breaks” before to long.  I’m pretty confident that within a week we’ll at least have some solid nymphing.
