Lower Madison - Thu, Oct 13th

Flows have been stable on the Lower for a few days and fishing has improved.  All the usual nymphs have been working, plus we’ve been finding some fish surface feeding on overcast days.  Tuesday was especially good and today should offer similar opportunities.  If the flows remain stable the river should continue to offer some fine fall fishing.  We’re still waiting to hear some reports of the streamer fishing picking up on the Lower.  That should also improve with the nice dank fall weather we’re getting.
