Lower Madison - Tue, Nov 29th
The Lower Madison is a good winter option when the wind isn't blowing too hard. Worms, midge larva and eggs have all been catching some fish. The streamer bite is hit or miss with the water now being very cold. Colder weather in the forecast will make for more slush and shelf ice in the days to come. Midge hatches can make for surface action on warm, calm days.
