Lower Madison - Wed, Jul 20th

Ok, we may have jumped the gun with yesterday's proclamation of this as being the best choice in the region. The river was dirtier today than it has been, probably as a result of the heavy winds stirring up Ennis Lake the last couple of days. Flows have remained stable so it shouldn't last long, but there is still a foot or so of viz, plenty to catch some fish! Water temps, lack of weeds, and flows really make it a great choice as we await the lowering of the Yellowstone (soon)!
