Spring Creeks Reports
Monday, May 7th
Midge and Baetis hatches have been making for decent dry fly action on overcast days, but nymphing will be the mainstay with sunny weather in the forecast this week. Midge larva and pupa, caddis larva, mayfly nymphs, scud and sowbug patterns have all been effective. Brown Trout are still hanging out on the spawning beds, so avoid walking around in the creeks too much. Baetis hatches are dying off, but midge hatches should get better into winter.
