Spring Creeks - Mon, Jan 9th

The Spring Creeks are fishing well, but wind can be a real pain over in the Paradise Valley.  Dry fly fishing has been hit or miss, but nymph fishing has been consistently good.   Some midges and even bwo hatches will get fish rising when conditions are right.  Sunny days and wind are usual not good dry fly days.  Scuds, sowbugs, midge larva, midge pupa and small mayfly nymphs without the bead are all producing well.  Leech patterns have also been effective at getting some fish to chase a larger meal.
