Spring Creeks - Tue, Nov 29th

Brown Trout are still hanging out on the spawning beds, so avoid walking around in the creeks too much.  Baetis hatches are dying off, but midge hatches should get better into winter.  Small streamers and leeches will sometimes catch the attention of larger fish. Nymphing is best with the usual spring creek stuff like worms, scuds, sowbugs, mayfly nymphs, midge larva and midge pupa.  For rising fish you will want to have a selection midge dries and emergers to keep fish interested.
