Spring Creeks - Tue, Aug 16th

It sounds like the PMD’s are really tapering off on the spring creeks.  More important now are the midges, small sulfurs (which kind of look like a little PMD), and maybe some caddis.  Terrestrials will also take some fish mid-day and so will nymphing with little PMD/Baetis patterns.  We’re still hearing of plenty of quality fish being taken on the spring creeks but don’t expect them to be easy at this point in the summer.
