Spring Creeks - Thu, Oct 20th

Paradise Valley spring creeks are now on the winter rates of $40.  Milesnick Ranch is down to $50 for the rest of their season.  Midge hatches have been good during the morning with Baetis hatches coming off during the early afternoon.  Try fishing an emerger pattern behind your dry.  Cloudy days have had reliable Baetis dry fishing with sunny days being slow for dry fly action.  Nymphing is good with baetis nymphs, midge larva and pupa, sowbugs and scuds.  Leeches and streamers have worked well, especially on the nasty weather days.  Be careful not to step on the spawning beds of any brown trout that might be spawning at this time of year.
