Fishing Reports

Upper Madison - Tue, Nov 29th

Fishing is still decent if you can avoid the very windy days.  Higher up on the river in the wade only section is more protected from the wind.  Ice is starting to form down around Ennis which is another reason to head up high.  Nymphing is going to be most productive, but you might still be able to get some fish to chase a streamer.  Midge hatches can bring fish to the surface when conditions are good.  Dead-drifted stonefly nymphs, midge larva, worms and eggs have been productive.
