Fishing Reports

Yellowstone River - Tue, Nov 29th

There is some shelf ice and slush starting to form on the river.  Nymphing has been ok when the wind isn't too bad.  Stonefly nymphs and midge larva have been working best.  A few fish have still been taken on streamers.  Floating and wading will become dangerous from here on out now that the ice is forming.  The forecast is calling for some cold weather, so it might be the end of fishing for a while. Look for midge hatches when ice thaws out.
