Sounds like Slough Creek is finally an option, although it’s still very high. Fish will eat some big dries and typical high water subsurface flies. We’re not that into going to the Park to chuck worms, but if you drove all that way and you want to catch fish it’s an option. The Lamar and Soda Butte are still too high.
Morning fishing can still be good on the Firehole and the Madison in the park. Caddis and some PMD’s are out, and the fish are eating terrestrials. Please keep an eye on water temps, especially if you’re fishing the Firehole below Midway Geyser Basin or for that matter on the Madison in the afternoons, as well. You should probably fish this corner of the Park in the a.m. and then do your sight seeing.
